Community Engagement
Raising awareness on nutrition and its transformative impact on personal and community health.
SciCook's Community Engagement program is our commitment to empowering individuals and families with the knowledge, skills, and resources they need to make healthier choices — and understand why those choices matter.
Through evidence-based nutrition workshops, hands-on cooking classes, and school outreach programs, we reach San Diegans of all ages and backgrounds. Our educators combine rigorous nutritional science with practical, accessible advice that fits real lives and real budgets.
We partner with schools, community centers, shelters, and local organizations to bring nutrition education where it's needed most — ensuring that knowledge about healthy eating isn't a luxury reserved for the privileged few.
